At the heart of the Okauchee Area and the Town of Oconomowoc, we are a community of businesses and residents committed to preserving our rich history. Our mission is to create, promote, and sustain a diverse network of commercial enterprises that prioritize exceptional quality and competitive standards. Together, we strive to enhance the Lake Country Area and support local growth.

Our goal is to cultivate a vibrant and supportive business community in Okauchee, where local entrepreneurs can thrive, families can flourish, and residents experience an outstanding quality of life. We envision Okauchee as a model of collaboration and innovation, harmoniously combining the charm of small-town living with the opportunities of big-city life. Together, we celebrate our beautiful natural surroundings and foster a strong community spirit.
In the community, we annually provide financial donations
We help fellow non-profit organizations in the community through member donations, volunteer efforts and leadership.

In the community, we annually volunteer our time
Our association works on local community improvements and beautifications. These include organizing, maintaining and watering the beautiful hanging flower baskets, the flower garden at the Sawyer Road exit, flowers at the Welcome to Okauchee sign and in the roundabout’s circle garden.
We fund and hang the Christmas decorations, we sponsor the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and the light up snowflakes in downtown Okauchee.
We recently began organizing and sponsoring the now annual Okauchee Street Dance and are in the process of planning a new fall festival event.
Our annual spring Dinner Dance and Fundraiser (called the Okauchee Prom by the locals) is an annual event enjoyed by many here in Lake Country. Held at the Golden Mast this fundraiser is made possible by generous donations from members and businesses from our association – and through out Lake Country.
In the community, we annually promote new businesses
We continue to promote and encourage businesses in new and exciting ways. Our new website and social media presence on both Facebook and Instagram help to advertise all of the businesses in our area.
Our events add enhanced marketing value to the community businesses. They bring notoriety, traffic and dollars into Okauchee.
As we work together we are continuing to develop Okauchee into the community we envision for ourselves and future generations.
